Matt Pomeroy is the Chief Financial Officer at Midwest Refrigerated Services (MRS), overseeing finance, IT, insurance, and administration since joining in 2020. With over 25 years of experience, including international work in China, Matt has held roles at General Electric, Baxter International, and Dutchland Plastics. At MRS, he has led key projects such as the sale of four warehouse facilities, transitioning to an insurance captive, and implementing Business Intelligence (BI) tools to enhance financial reporting and visibility, transforming the company’s management approach.

Matt’s expertise spans financial analysis, project management, and IT infrastructure, with strategic efforts focused on supporting MRS's growth. Holding a BS in Economics and Mathematics from Bentley University and an MBA from the Chicago Booth School of Business, Matt values open, engaging leadership that empowers teams to solve challenges holistically. Outside work, he enjoys cycling, sports card collecting, and spending time with his wife, Rachel, and their two children. His vision is to build scalable support systems that ensure MRS’s long-term success.
